The Avengers

I recently watched The Incredible Hulk(2008) and was astonished at how well Marvel Comics did with it. Earlier in '08, Marvel also took part in Iron Man. (Spoilers); At the end of Iron Man, Tony Stark is approached by Nick Fury, the directer of S.H.I.E.L.D to talk about 'The Avenger Initiative' This is a cliffhanger of sorts, which will eventually lead to a sequel or two. Tony Stark also makes a cameo appearance in the Incredible Hulk, which leads to the idea that Bruce Banner is going to be recruited into the Avenger Initiative. This will all be leading to a new movie unto itself. The Avengers, set to be released in 2011, is supposed to be a culmination of several superheroes, including Thor and Captain America (both of which have movies coming out in the next few years). I believe that the way they have hyped it up at the ending of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk is an ingenious thing. The Incredible Hulk had amazing visual effects as well as spot on acting, you felt as if Edward Norton actually was Bruce Banner, and not just an actor portraying him.

"The Avengers" sounds like a good ation pact movie concidering all of my favorite super heres. (except Thor) One thing, I think that Captin America is from the area of WWII. IF this will be true in his movie I hope they will have a good introduction (bringing him to the future) of in the group movie.
I did see The Incredible Hulk, I left about half way through it in the theater but i finished it on from the Internet. I left the movie because it was not doing anything for me. It was very boaring and no action or anything suspensful. When I finished it at home the action was ok but not great. I i saw it all in the theater it might of felt different.
All in all i thought the first Hulk was better.

Joey seems like he's all about action movies huh? Hopefully some of the films we watch in art of film make him more interested in other categories.

i agree that the incredible hulk had some great acting in it. bruce banner really did play a great hulk. also i think "The Avengers" will not exactly be the greatest movie ever, while i did like the incredible hulk typically i dont like super hero movies so that could be affecting my judgment of this film. i guess i will just need to watch it when it comes out and see for myself.
